.The wonderfully compelling art of the hand-animated characters is one thing, but the structuralism of what Cuphead evokes in us is another matter. Delight and smile, despite the hundred deaths that stick to our screen. Being a mercenary with the devil and the master of the dice, the two greatest gambling gods, we can pale in comparison to what debtors we are dealing with.
So it's like a blue ball? Blueberry or something. And a mighty dragon that seems to be more ridiculous than difficult to overcome. The aesthetics of those two, however, are overshadowed by the Queen of Sweets and anthropomorphic chocolate with wings. This is not the only sequence accompanying this game, oh no. There is something else. Bosses are bosses, but the NPCs we come across are something else entirely. The curiosity that injected into my brain after seeing Mr. Coin or the little pirate is only a phantasm to further characters we meet. That's not all, because in addition to a mouse locked in a cybernetic cat, there are jellyfish, a Halloween and a Christmas level; with DLC, where we have the opportunity to fight with the king of the mountain, big-nosed frosty grandfather.
However, this is nothing compared to Papa Teapot itself and a young cup. Despite everything, the final act is breathtaking along with the boss I call the Chef's Saltman. So what is Cuphead? The quintessence of unknown joys written within what we understand by debt, gambling drive and sentimentalism of joy resulting from running animated with a mug and cups and bowls.
Cuphead is hard work, the visuals of which make it worth not losing patience prematurely, because more than once the animated beauty defeats the evil devil in this world and ... gambling!
